Los Duendes ("The Elfs") is a flamenco music and dance quartet that began life over 15 years ago thanks to the impetus of Marco Galvagno. A virtuoso guitar player, Marco Galvagno has the talent and temperement of a true perfomer. Amongst his achievements are 1st prize in the 4° Guitar Festival of the city of Voghera and the International Guitar Trophy of the city of Casarza Ligure. Acustic Guitar International Meeting classified him as one of the top ten guitar players in Italy. His fingers move at lightning speed on his beloved guitar “Alhambra”. Marco Galvagno is the soul of the group.

Through the years the group has changed line-up several times. Currently the band is compsed of two acustic guitar players, a percussionist and a dancer. On the guitars alternating alongside Marco Galvagno, are Matteo Nahum, Andrea Anzaldi and Davide Chinigò. The rhythm, oozing from the beat of the cahon, is provided by the percussionist Luigi Fasano. The visual movement of their show is supervised by Sarah who dances in traditional dress under her own choreography.

In concert, the group mix original compositions of Marco Galvagno with songs from Paco de Lucia, Al di Meola, John McLaughlin and spanish traditional songs.
